  Columbian Hostage Deal Falls Through For Oliver Stone

FARC Hostage Deal No Go For Rescuers In Colombia

The rescue team that film-maker Oliver Stone joined over the weekend in Columbia has been told the deal has fallen through.

FARC (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia), had previously agreed to release hostages kept for over two years to the Stone rescue team.

However the deal has fallen through days laters as the guerrillas accused Colombia’s military of sabotaging the promised handoff.
