ALI G and Borat vs Kazakhstan Round Two
Ali G’s character “Borat” from Kazakhstan has angered authorities enough to have the website located at .kz domain removed.
The removal of the website is a result of Sacha Baron Cohen’s (ALI G, Borat) response on the website to threats of legal action from Kazakhstan.
The President of the Association of Kazakh IT Companies said
“We’ve done this so he can’t badmouth Kazakhstan under the .kz domain name. He can go and do whatever he wants at other domains.”
I would imagine Ali G will take this advice, lets wait and see if there will be a round three!
Borat has his website now at a new domain http://borat.tv
Here’s a sample of the type of satirical comment that may be upsetting officials in Kazakhstan.
“Kazakhstan is as civilized as any other country in the world!”
“Women can now travel on inside of bus, homosexuals no longer have to wear blue hat and age of consent has been raised to 8 years old.”
