Online currency trading with the NZ dollar against the US dollar has been hugely predictable recently.

As an enthusiast foreign currency trader, I have delighted recently in the New Zealand Dollars rises and falls against the US dollar.

Over the last couple of years we have seen the New Zealand Dollar go from US0.44 Cents to US0.71.

The really cool thing about the rises [and falls] is that they have been largely predictable.

With a strengthening property market in New Zealand and comparitively high internal interest rates, New Zealand has welcomed huge amounts of investment from overseas.

Of course the obvious result is the strengthening of the currency, particularly against a weakening US dollar in global markets.

Lately, the NZ Dollar has been bouncing around between US 0.68 to US 0.70, making it easy to get up to 200 pips change in 24 hours!

So my prediction for future forex currency trading for NZ vs US dollars?

SELL SELL SELL. As interest rates in New Zealand become higher, investor speculation will decrease as investors start to get nervous about a rapid decline.

We have started to see this recently with the 1.5 cent drop in NZ currency vs US when the reserve bank of New Zealand increased interest rates by another quarter.
