Pakistani Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz Says CIA attack reports “Bizarre”
The US conducted an attack on a home in the area of Pakistan-Afghanistan border which it says killed four to eight al Qaeda members.
It seems however that Pakistani Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz disputes this information.
On CNN’s “Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer,” he said:
“There is no evidence, as of half an hour ago, that there were any other people there,” -Aziz
Pakistani officials say the civilian death toll form the attck was 18.
The U.S. have said the attack was intended to kill Osama bin Laden’s No. 2 man, Ayman al-Zawahiri.
Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz also said “There is no evidence of Al-Qaeda presence in the village“.
