Blood ready for the Amazon Swim
Few would venture into the water of the Amazon River as it is filled with snakes, crocodiles, piranhas and even sharks. But, Slovenian Martin Strel, 52 is planning to swim 5,431kms down this river.
Buckets filled with animal blood will be loaded onto boats to distract the dangerous fish during Strel’s 70 day journey.
The 52 year old man starts his swim on the 1st of February in Peru, and will finish in Brazil on April the 11th.
