The Oldest Woman to Give Birth Decieved Clinic
A 67 year old gave birth to twins on the 29th of December, she decieved the doctors into giving her fertility treatment.
Carmela Bousada convinced a Los Angeles clinic she was 55, which is the cut off age for their in-vitro fertilisation programme.
Bousada said the clinic did not ask for proof of her age, and she also looked slimmer and younger before she was pregnant. She picked to donars of the egg and sperm out of a catalogue.
Carmela also went through hormone therapy, which allowed her to have her period for the first time in 18 years. It only took one attempt to get her pregnant.
Bousada believes she will live old like her Mother, who died at 101, and doesnt believe she will struggle raising twins.
