The Latest At Saddam’s Trial Is Almost Amusing… Saddam Does ‘No Show” To Trial…
Yep it’s true. Saddam Hussein and four other defendants refused to attend their trial on Wednesday.
Saddam Hussein demanded that Chief judge Raouf Abdel-Rahman be removed as he was biased against Hussein.
Why oh why is this ‘justice’ system being so soft on Hussein, and allowing all these time wasting excercises?
If Hussein refuses to attend court, then he should be shackled, and possibly muzzled, and dragged into the courtroom.
How he [Hussein] manages to decide whether or not he will attend a court hearing is beyond me.
I mean it’s not like he’s appearing for the prosecution as a star witness or something…
