Update - Bali 9 Member Scott Rush Sentence : Life In Prison
Bali 9 member Scott Rush learned his fate today for being caught trafficking heroin into Indonesia.
Rush who had seemingly convinced the Indonesian authorities that he was merely a pawn, playing the role of a drug mule.
The Indonesians, not being known for their lenience toward drug offences have given Scott Rush a ‘life in prison’ sentence.
Speculation before the sentenceing seemed to suggest Rush might only get 20 years.
However today’s decision left Rush speecless as he hung his head and swallowed as the sentence was passed out.
Sadly, for one act of stupidity, Rush will now consider Kerobokan prison as home for the rest of his life.
