Valentine’s Day Vandels Glue Doors Shut

For florists Valentine’s day is the biggest day of the year, but not this year for Ms Perkins, of Millys Flowers in Orakei as vandels had super glued her doors shut.

“I couldn’t put my key in the door hole and realised it had been superglued or bonded,” she said. She had arrived at her shop at 6:30am as many Men were picking up flowers to give to there loved ones an hour later.

Millly Perkins was heart broken that this happened but said it was “more a bit of anger and disappointment that someone gets a thrill of screwing up your biggest day”. She stayed in her shop until midnight last night making all of the bouquets, as was even thinking about staying the night to finish.

Ms Perkins eventually got into her store as a locksmith and a builder cut through the mechanism with a grinder. Milly is now faced with a $600 repair bill.
