Deputy school principal jailed for child porn
Norman John Foote, 59, former deputy principal of Lytton High School,Gisborne admitted to downloading more than one thousand images of child pornography onto a school laptop has been jailed.
The former Deputy Principal was sentenced to 10 months jail today in the Wellington District Court. 1045 horrific images were downloaded onto the schools laptop and were all involved sexual abuse of children.
The Judge has granted him leave to apply for home detention. But she has stressed it was a decision that the parole board will make.
