A teenagers new car exploded when he lit up a cigarette after spraying his dashboard with aresol body spray.
The teenager spend five days in Rotorua Hospital after he suffered burns from the explosion. His car was wirtten off immediately but unluckily the unamed teen doesnt have insurance.
The teenager had been sprucing up his car to show friends according to the Rotorua Post.
The explosion shattered the windscreens and peices of glass were found meters away from the car. The explosion blew out the car’s doors aswel.
