Jaguar Kills Zookeeper at Denver Zoo
A male Jaguar killed a zookeeper today at Denver Zoo today, which forced zookeepers to put the jaguar down so police have said. Denver Police spokesman Sonny Jackson said “I can confirm that a female worker was killed and we’re still conducting an investigation,”
The 6-year-old jaguar attacked the unidentified worker inside its enclosure early this morning. Armed employees entered the enclosure to retrieve the injured woman when the cat threatened them, Accoding to the statment made on the zoo’s website.
The attacked worker was said to be mauled and was transported to hospital and it was there where she was pronnounced dead. Her name and age have not been released.
