Here’s a Great Example of Stupidity in the New Zealand Green Party. - Supporting a Ban on H20!
Ok, so admitedly this is from 2001, so is 6 years old…. but i still find this news item unbelievable!
In an email response to a spoof highlighting all the dangers and deaths from water, Green MP Sue Kedgley’s office said she was ‘absolutely supportive’ of a ban on dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) in New Zealand.
National Party’s Nick Smith used the issue to higlight the Greens hysterical approach to anything “sounding” scientific.
Dr. Smith said:
“The Greens’ support for a ban on dihydrogen monoxide shows just how scientifically illiterate the party is. They would ban anything if it has a slightly scientific name, regardless of the fact that all life would cease without water,”
Witha BA in Political Science, you’d at least have thought that Sue Kedgely would have Third Form science! - Ban the H2O…lol
