Still In Prison - Schapelle Corby.
Schapelle Corby, the 28 year Old Australian Convicted of Marijuana Smuggling into Indonesia, and currently serving a 20-year prison sentence in Bali.
Poor Schappelle Corby, Innocent or not, 20-years in an Indonesian prison is more than a life sentence. I can only hope that political pressure will be increased in order to bring Schapelle Corby home to her family long before her sentence is finished.
‘I long to be free and live again outside these walls¦ I will never understand why this happened to me.
Why my bag¦ Right now I’m empty, lost and numb… It’s been so long since I’ve felt peaceful and happy.
So long since I’ve smiled and laughed on the inside and out¦ I sound like a broken record but I will keep saying it: I’m innocent, I’m innocent, I’m innocent.’
- Quotes from Schapelle’s book ‘My Story’.
What ever happened to the Prisoner exchange Program being negotiated between the two countries?
