Russell Simmons, Advocate for Restricting Extreme Curse Words in Hip-Hop.

Yes, you heard right. Restricting cursing (albeit extreme) in Rap & Hip-Hop.

Russell Simmons said the words “bitch,” “ho” and “nigger” should be considered “extreme curse words.”

Simmons also commented: “This is a first step. It’s a clear message and a consistency that we want the industry to accept for more corporate social responsibility.”

Ok, so Russell Simmons as part owner of Def Jam may have helped shape the Hip-Hop industry, but do we really want this influence?

Hip-hop without the cursing is is like Paris Hilton without the Gold-Card!
