NZ Petrol Prices Marching To Own Beat.
World Oil commodity prices have had a large amount of press recently, but it seems New Zealand Prices at times defy the market.
To the horror of most Kiwi exporters, the New Zealand dollar has soared to 20+ year-highs against the US dollar.
With all this extra “bang-for-our-buck”, you’d have expected fuel prices in New Zealand to drop.
Hardly.
What really erks me, is that on top of a kiwi dollar that continues to rise against the US, Oil commodity prices have dropped off slightly.
These two factors should have decreased the price of petrol & diesel at the pumps for consumers, but it hasn’t.
