It doesn’t seem like very long since I latched onto the whole “blog” thing. Introduced to me by Internet guru Hone Watson, as a way not to post my mindless rhetoric, but to make passive income.

At first the task seemed overwhelming, in terms of getting some content published to attract search engine traffic. However it’s amazing how a few minutes a day can easily amount into a few articles amongst even one website.

Only months down the track I look at the revenue created in my Google Adsense account and realise one very important aspect:

Whilst the Adsense revenue is not currently enough to allow me to quit other enterprises (and for various reasons, never will be!), I have watched it grow from only cents per day into dollars, and then into multiples of dollars.

The return from this enterprise [I shudder to use the term “investment”, because I’ve not spent a single dollar creating it], is significantly greater over the same period than the interest on a $20,000 deposit in a standard saving account.

Now in “Get-Rich 101″ we are taught that the benefits of return on investment, but the beauty of this type of enterprise is that you don’t need 20 Grand to begin with to get the returns!
