Summer Fishing in Auckland, New Zealand
Summer. Or should I say SUMMER! I love summer here in NZ, mostly because I can get out on the water of the Hauraki Gulf and go fishing.
The fishing here is excellent, check this post from last summer, and it’s getting to that time of year again.
For me, it’s like Christmas, and like any Kiwi bloke I like to “potter” around the boat to make sure all is well for the next day.
When one potters, one is not necessarily achieving any major task that must be done, it’s jst a part of the enjoyment!
A little spray of anti-rust here, a tighten of a screw there… Girls just wouldn’t understand
It’s 8PM here, still daylight (just), and I intend to go out just before daybreak tomorrow.
We shall see what I have to report, this time tomorrow. Hopefully a bunch of pics, but in the worst case scenario - at least some tales about the ones that got away!
