Upon questioning the reason for him having to change his seat, the man was informed it was Quantas airline’s policy that only women were allowed to sit next to unaccompanied children. Apparently Quantas and Air New Zealand have a similar policy.

The Auckland man, Mark Worsley said: “At the time I was so gobsmacked that I moved. I was so embarrassed and just stewed on it for the entire flight.”

Amazingly, I would have thought it was a breach of Mr. Worsley’s Human Rights, on the basis he was discriminated due to his gender.

It seems that the only time political correctness doesn’t apply is in dealing with the middle aged white male.

I can’t help but wonder what would have happened if a young accompanied girl had been seated next to an obvious lesbian woman - would the airline ask the lesbian woman to change seat?

One would have thought that potentially, less commotion may have been caused by simply shifting the child!

Having a policy preventing men from sitting next to an unaccompanied child essentially portrays a message that any or all men are un-trustworthy.

This type of scare-mongering is perpetrated by the few with a specific political agenda.

Unfortunately this type of garbage is all to familiar in New Zealand and Australia.

Many normal people now just “glaze over” when they hear the White-Male-Bashing-Brigade wailing their usual tune.

Men have been forced out of schools as teachers, community groups like cub-scouts and sports teams. A certain element of the population seems intent on assasinating the character of the white male.

Men are bad. Men are dangerous. Men are violent. Men abuse women and children.

Children being taught to fear men simply because they are men is obscene.

This bullshit with a Quantas and Air New Zealand policy on unaccompanied minors needs to be addressed at the highest level.
