New Information on Schappelle Corby Could Prove Devastating For Her Sentence Appeal In Bali
The Australian Federal Government has confirmed that police have siezed photographs of Schappelle Corby and a man recently convicted for smuggling marijuana.
This new information couldn’t have had worse timing for Schappelle Corby who has an appeal case for her reduced 20 year sentence in the Indonesian supreme court.
Schappelle Corby’s appeal is based on the lower courts not permitiing evidence to be heard that may have vindicated her.
The Indonesians are beleived to have requested the captured photos involving Schappelle Corby and the Drug Smuggler.
It’s interesting that the Indonesian court are interested in this eveidence from outside Bali, but would not hear evidence form outside Indonesia in the early stages of the case.
This latest evidence could put a serious dent in Schappelle Corby’s appeal outcome. The prosecutors in the original case are already calling for the reduced sentence to be reverted to 20 years.
