Sunset at Taupo Beach, End of Winter 2008
I’ve said it before, but I love Taupo. Beautiful anytime of year!
The best time on the lake is early in the morning or evening when the water settles right down.
This makes ideal conditions for fishing, and skiing etc.
Amazingly at this time of year, the lake has almost nobody on it.
The sunsets at lake Taupo in the winter are particulary lovely.
Any evening when the weather is good (which is almost every day) the sunsets are so picturesque. I snapped these shots with my phone on the way to a restaurant.
I guess a real photographer could capture the beauty a little better!
